Carolina Tartan

The dyed cloth makes a lovely scarf or a fetching stole, but the distinctive Carolina tartan pattern represents so much more. Pattern available for most products. Wearables come in chenille or boucle and are dry clean only. Scarves measure 80″x 9.” Dishtowels measure are available in cotton only, measure 24″x 15,” and are machine washable. All products are woven to order, so please allow time.

WEAVING CLASSES
Weaving Classes are offered to the public three times per year on our Avery campus. These classes are dedicated to teaching traditional Appalachian Mountain Weaving to all who are interested in learning.
The course is $500 and includes all materials you will need to take the class. Classes run Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. At the end of the session you will have handwoven placemats and a table runner for your personal collection, all woven by you!
A $200 non-refundable deposit will be required in order to save your seat in the class.
The Crossnore Weavers invite you to come into their weaving studio to learn all you desire about weaving in the traditional style.
