Rebecca King Hawkinson

Rebecca King Hawkinson is an American artist with European atelier style training from one of Pietro Annigoni’s students, Fresco Master Ben Long IV. Influenced by the art and philosophies of the past and present, Hawkinson’s art is centered around light and color relationships in the natural world and the emotive weight of relative natural, and formal elements.

Hawkinson works in a private studio in Black Mountain, North Carolina, and regularly travels across the world to paint landscapes and study the world’s greatest masterpieces. Prolific and passionate about more people experiencing great art, Hawkinson makes art and shares her work and ideas with friends, students, and colleagues every week in North Carolina and online.

Hawkinson teaches at the Fine Arts League of the Carolinas, a school founded by Ben Long IV to educate artists in the traditional drawing and painting methods of the Old Masters.
