Child & Family Therapist
Katie Grote is a Child & Family Therapist, serving outpatient clients at the Winston-Salem campus and at Wiley Magnet Middle School. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a National Certified Counselor. Katie is an EMDRIA Trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, with additional training in working with dissociation and healing attachment wounds. She has a passion for working with kids and adolescents with complex trauma and their families. Katie values cultural humility in her work with clients and she is LGBTQIA+ affirming. She joined Crossnore Communities for Children in 2021.
