Mo’s Boots Blesses The Crossnore School

by

Mo’s Boots in Boone, NC celebrated their 10th anniversary during the weekend of October 23, 2015. Mo’s Boots is a family-owned and operated  store offering a wide variety of outdoor apparel and work gear – and of course, cowboy boots for men, women, and children. Rather than just a celebration, owner Cathy Hardy said they wanted to celebrate the community support they have received since 2005 by highlighting a worthy cause.

When they mentioned this desire to their friend, Coach Jerry Moore, he suggested The Crossnore School. Upon visiting the campus, the Hardys decided to feature the School in their celebration weekend.

During the weekend, Mo’s offered sales, games, food, a silent auction, and signed autographs from Coach Moore, former head football coach at Appalachian State University. They also accepted donations on behalf of The Crossnore School.

Once the final tally was in, a check was presented on Monday, December 7, 2015 to Brett Loftis, CEO of The Crossnore School for $2,010.75. This money will go into Crossnore’s general fund and immediately put to use providing much needed services for the children Crossnore serves.

Crossnore has been blessed by generous community partners like Mo’s Boots, and we look forward to working together again in the future.
