Adrienne Bookhamer has dedicated the last 30 years to the child welfare system, working in both the public and nonprofit sectors with families and children in Colorado, Florida, and now North Carolina. She has served as the Executive Director of two private child placement agencies in Colorado and Florida. Additionally, Adrienne has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver and Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she taught courses in Adoption and Foster Care, Child Maltreatment, and Intake and Assessments in Child Welfare.
Adrienne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Children Studies from Purdue University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver. She has been a licensed clinical social worker since 2000 and currently holds her licenses in Florida and North Carolina. Adrienne is also a proud parent of four adult children and has one grandson.
