Angela Squire serves as the Senior Director of Prevention Services for Crossnore, and also currently fulfills the role as the Program Manager for Crossnore’s Homebuilders® program. Angela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, a Certified Clinical Supervisor by the North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor by the Center for Credentialing & Education. She is also a registered Clinical Supervisor through the North Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, and a Qualified Supervisor by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. Angela is a state rostered Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy clinician and currently serves as a Senior Leader with the North Carolina Child Treatment Program at Duke University, as well as Adjunct Faculty for the Master of Social Work program at UNC Chapel Hill. She has worked with high-risk youth and families since 2003, and has been with Crossnore since 2010.  She held several roles in program development and clinical leadership in our continuum of programs during her tenure, before transitioning to spearhead the development of our Prevention Services Division in 2021. This included the initial development of Crossnore’s Homebuilders® program, and recent expansion of additional enhanced family-focused interventions and support services. She is also a licensed foster parent and understands the challenges and importance of quality prevention-based services for children and families in North Carolina.
